Beverley McGarvey

Chief Content Officer & EVP, ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand

Beverley is chief content officer & EVP, ViacomCBS Australia & NZ responsible for all network content and platforms across ViacomCBS Australia and NZ including Network 10, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and MTV. Beverley was previously Network 10 chief content officer from 2016 to March 2020 where she was responsible for all network content and platforms including 10, 10 Peach, 10 Bold, 10 Play, 10 Speaks, News and Sport.

Her 13-year tenure at 10 began in 2006 as our head of programming before becoming chief programming officer in 2012.

Beverley’s career has seen her work at UTV in Belfast, TV3 Ireland, ITV’s Meridian Television in England and TV3 New Zealand, where she was director of programming for several years.

Aside from her one passion, television, Beverley enjoys filling her rare spare moments with going to the movies and spending time with her young children.

Rod Prosser

Chief Sales Officer, ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand

Rod was appointed chief sales officer of ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand in February 2020 with overall responsibility of the company’s advertising sales function. Rod was previously Network 10 chief sales officer from August 2018 and led the re-building and in-sourcing of the Sales team.

Rod joined Network 10 in 2010 and has held a number of roles including executive general manager, revenue and client partnerships, sales director of Brisbane and Sydney, national head of trading and sport sales and general manager of 10’s Brisbane and South-East Queensland station TVQ. During this time, he spent a lot of his effort skiing, or paddling in the ocean.

Favourite author? Dr Seuss. Favourite band? Lany. Favourite movie? Pulp Fiction. And he is devoted to The Project.

Before 10, Rod spent 12 years in senior sales roles at Nine Network and ACP Magazines.

Carla Webb-Sear

Chief Financial Officer

Boasting a remarkably diverse range of financial experience, Carla was appointed chief financial officer in May 2018.

Carla joined us from Fairfax Media, where she was group general manager, finance. She held various finance roles at Fairfax over an 11-year period, including finance director in the Australian Publishing Media division and group financial controller and investor relations.

Carla has also worked at EMI Music Australia and PwC in Australia, the UK and the US – unsurprisingly, her passion is for travel.

Carla is director of the 10-related companies, 3H Group (RSVP/Oasis) and Hagar Australia (charity). She has a soft spot for Todd Sampson’s Body Hack and The Project.

Stuart Thomas

VP Legal & Corporate Affairs

Stuart joined Network 10 in August 2013 as general counsel and was appointed company secretary in December 2016.

He was promoted to ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand’s VP Legal & Corporate Affairs in July 2020, taking on additional responsibility for corporate affairs, government and regulatory activity across the company.

Stuart is the former director of legal and regulatory affairs and chief operating officer at Macquarie Radio Network, and a former general counsel at Nine Network. He is also a former partner at Gilbert & Tobin and worked at Allen Allen & Hemsley (now Allens).

A sponsor of Griffin Theatre, Bangarra Dance and Sydney Dance Company, Stuart is passionate about the performing arts, swimming, running and skiing.

A devoted fan of Cate Blanchett and Umberto Eco, his 10 viewing includes Have You Been Paying Attention? and Five Bedrooms.

 

Frank Filosi

VP Operations & Facilities and General Manager Adelaide

Frank Filosi is the VP Operations & Facilities at ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand, as well as the General Manager Adelaide, responsible for the national network operations of the business.

Frank has over 30 years’ experience working in the television industry. Throughout his career he has held the positions of Assistant Accountant, Company Accountant, Director of Finance, Company Secretary, General Manager Adelaide, General Manager Perth and General Manager Network Operations.

Frank has extensive Board experience having been involved with organisations involved in the technology infrastructure, marketing, promotional, events, production and charitable sectors.

When not focused on work, Frank enjoys spending time with his family, walking, swimming, reading about history, listening to music and binging on a wide variety of movies, dramas and documentaries. His must watch 10 programs are Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Project.
