Help Us Help You

We’ve all heard it a thousand times, but it’s true that we’re all in this together. We all have a duty to help each other, now and as we head into the new normal, whatever that might look like.

At 10, we know keeping Australians informed and entertained is pretty crucial in the current environment. Our news guys are working overtime (literally) and 10 News First, The Project and Studio 10 are giving people all the news and information they need to know. Our entertainment schedule is providing some welcome and much-needed relief, led by the powerhouse that is MasterChef Australia.

Late last month, 10 and fellow ViacomCBS brands MTV and Nickelodeon launched the #InThisTogether, #AloneTogether and #KidsTogether campaigns to share health, safety and well-being messages during COVID-19.

Key elements of the campaign include:

  • Self-shot videos and live takeovers from celebrity and music talent across the brands.
  • Daily engagement through TV shows’ social accounts.
  • Original content, including animated and graphics-based content, focused on health and social distancing.

As our chief content officer and EVP, Beverley McGarvey, says: “Our brands reach and influence many, many Australians every day. In times like these, we have a clear duty to help however we can. The Together campaigns are part of our contribution to educating and helping Australians during these uncertain times.

“Now is the time for every person and every business – in Australia and around the world – to work together and help each other.”

At 10, our commercial partners can leverage the look and feel of this campaign. CEOs and brand ambassadors can use their own self-shot videos in #InThisTogether spots, providing relevant messages about their operations during COVID-19 or to simply offer words of comfort and support to Australia.

10 will edit these videos in the look and feel of our on-air campaign and schedule them on air, on digital and across social. You see check out what we mean below, with an ad featuring Domino’s Group CEO and Managing Director, Don Meij.

Our 10 Imagine division is also helping by quickly making TV commercials for clients whose current ads aren’t appropriate or relevant in the current times. One of our clients needed to lift the morale of its staff, so we gathered a group of network celebrities to make a video of thanks and encouragement.

We are here to help, so just let us know what we can do.
