Ready. Set. Go!

Ready. Set. Go!

Masks, music, love and romance have been big hits on 10 over the past couple months, with The Masked Singer Australia and The Bachelor Australia pulling big audiences across all platforms, setting social media on fire, and delivering strong shares in the key demographics.

Now we are preparing to get Australians racing – and laughing and screaming (think spiders and snakes) – with three massive TV events across the rest of this year and into 2021.

In just under two months, the Melbourne Cup Carnival is returning to 10 and this year, everyone has a ticket. Sure, this year’s nation-stopping race will look a little different but all the excitement, glamour and spectacle associated with Australia’s most-loved sporting event will be back – along with the best sport commentary team in the business.

A race of a different kind will hit our screens soon, when the new season of The Amazing Race Australia lands on 10.

Staying on home soil, our contestants will explore the breathtaking beauty and intrepid adventures Australia has to offer. Host Beau Ryan will be back to wrangle the racers, guide them through each task and let them know their fate at each pit stop.

Last year, our hearts weren’t the only thing racing when 11 daring duos bungee-jumped, kayaked, goat-milked and skydived their way across the globe in pursuit of the $250,000 cash prize. From folding dumplings to chowing down on century eggs, the race was filled with twists, turns and tantrums.

Last season’s winners, newlyweds Tim and Rod, said: “The Amazing Race Australia was the most incredible adventure of our lives. The race is an adrenaline rush like you’ve never experienced before and the memories will last a lifetime.”

Finally, the summer sensation I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be back early next year, ready to test and terrify a new bunch of celebrities.

Hosted again by comedy legend Julia Morris and her doctor-like sidekick Chris Brown, the new season will be the perfect alternative to cricket and tennis – assuming we see any cricket and tennis on our screens next year. If you’re wondering where I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2021 will be filmed, well, stay tuned…
